This summer, and for the first time, we have opened large sections of our libraries to all visitors for free.

CM's value-added now lies mainly in the Course Guides which are tailored to specific vocational qualifications, and so for a limited period, students, teachers and researchers will be able to access our archives without a subscription.

New for 2010 is the updated BTEC National course guide. Take a tour here to see the new layout. The three-tiered guide for the Diploma in Society, Health and Development is being created to support delivery of the Diploma at Levels 1 (Foundation), 2 (Higher) and 3 (Advanced). Together with the other Level 2 and Level 3 resources, it covers all the key areas, supplementing standard text-books with in-depth statistical and other data, including immediate online links to major legislation, research and official reports.

Each interactive guide links directly into the full Health & Social Care Digital Library, probably the largest single compilation of learning and teaching resource materials on Health and Care in the UK.
